At least 18 die in Burundi landslides

Landslides in Burundi have killed at least 18 people with 10 more missing after torrential rains, a local governor said Monday. "It is a disaster... dozens of houses were destroyed, crops have been washed away," said Jacques Minani, governor of the Bujumbura district, some 35 kilometres (20 miles) south of the capital.
