United Nations judges summoned Serbian politician Vojislav Seselj back to The Hague, ruling that the firebrand nationalist, who has terminal cancer, had violated the terms of his provisional release by saying he would not return to jail. The ruling, published on Monday, means Serbia's government, headed by Seselj's former ally, is legally obliged to arrest the politician, who moved back into politics when he was released on compassionate grounds in November. Judges said Seselj, who faces charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity for allegedly inciting persecution and murder and had been in custody since 2003, must return to The Hague for a hearing to discuss the violation of the terms of his release.
